Group shot - missing Rhonda and Cathy
At the end of two days at quilt festival we had 10 worn out ladies but everyone had a fantastic time, our suit cases are full and we are starting our long journey home.
Another fabulous Needle & Thread Tour of the USA.
Another wonderful day, quilt festival organise day trips and today I had booked us all onto the Galveston tour. Galveston is an island just off Houston. The buildings are stunning , very Southern style. We also visited a couple of Quilt Shops before attending preview night at Quilt Festival.
Only 3 sleeps until we start to head home - wow how fast has the time flown.
Well couldn't decide on which photo to post so thought I would use the very first one. What an amazing place to visit. The gardens were so inspiring, I think I want to garden full time just to make a tiny piece of paradise after being inspired. So many ideas so little time.
We arrived in Philadelphia today, then spent the afternoon on the hop on hop off bus. Philadelphia looks a great city pity we haven't lots of time to explore. But we did have time to jump off the bus run up the steps of the Art Museum and pretend we were "rocky"
Looking forward to the Longwood Gardens tomorrow.
After 4 hours touring the country side, visiting a number of quilt stores - purchasing a few quilts between us all and just taking in all that the Amish have to offer we arrived in the village of Intercourse to spend the next few hours visiting lots of very interesting stores before catching the local bus back to our hotel. Another incredible day. Off to Philly in the morning.
