These photo's were taken 2 weeks back, this is my Crepe Myrtle in the front garden - for some reason this year it was so heavy with bloom that the branches were nearly touching the ground. Don't you just love the vibrate pink colour.
These are my Silver birch trees also in the front garden - amazing what a little extra water does for them - they seem to have grown lots lately.
Even after all the 40+ days we have had my garden is still a little green oasis - I am so fortunate to have a great bore for the garden water.
How has everyone else's gardens held up in the heat.

Mines' been struggling here in warialda with the hot days, but just managing to keep it green around the house.I inhereted a large garden with this new place. Margaret.

My vege patch is gone...to much heat and hot wind! Lawn is decidedly crispy too!

mine has been struggling here for sure........love my crepe myrtles....they looked great around christmas but terrible now........

Its a beautiful tree. Our garden is very dry. The storms are so close yet so far. Just going around the edge. Looks like lovely rain . hope we get some this weekend.
