Well I knew my blog birthday was coming up but I was surprised a few minutes ago when I pulled out my blog book to read my very first post was on Thursday 16th Feb 2006. Wow lots have been shared on here since then.

Happy 6th birthday. I remember coming back after Girls Day in the Country and finding me in one of your pictures you had posted! And I always love seeing your groups paper bag quilts!

Well, Kerry, that's fairly easy for me....I had a lightning bolt moment and made a life changing decision after reading March 18 2010, Girls Day in the Country 2010 post. That day I decided to go to GDITC in 2011!!.....and I made contact with Chookyblue, got started on blogging thanks to her, and met yourself, Chooky and all the other wonderful ladies in Nundle 2011......your blog has led me to a wonderful world in friendship thru blogging, and I can't wait to see you again soon.....happy 6th bloggy birthday....

Hello Kerry, six years of blogging is a great achievement!! I do miss my Tuesdays with you and the girls. My favourite post so far was seeing Nicole in her wedding dress.

The 9th of June 2007 - snow in Nundle - not a sight you see every day :)
It's too hard to pick from all the rest.
Looking back it's nice to see the faces of friends who have moved on to other places.

Happy "Blog" Birthday, Kerry.
My favourite post is September 15, 2011, "50 Years and Still Friends" because I recognized most of the ladies in that photo, having worked at the same hospital in the 1970's. It gave me such a pang of nostalgia when I read that particular blog post; it was such a blast from the past for me, having relocated elsewhere many years ago.

Well i dont have any specific one. I just know that when I was in Canada it was an amazing link with friends back home and an inspiration to me to continue sewing. Happy anniversary!!!

Hi Kerry, congrats on the Blogiversary! 6 years, that's an impressive effort. As for my favourite post...I'm going to cheat and say that several of your posts from April 2008 hold a special place in my heart. First and foremost are the photos of Nundle taken as the trees are changing colour. Perfect for when I get homesick for some good old New England countryside. Secondly, the old cupboard that you restored and now have holding fabric. It makes me smile to see an old battered piece of furniture being loved and restored.

6 years - Congrats. Hard to pick just one post - I enjoy your quilt photos, reading about your retreats, Tuesday classes, paper bags (especially August 18 2009), your travels, your cooking, your family, and even your local wildlife. Thanks for sharing it all.
