Thought I better share a few retreat photo's from the past couple of weeks, some great quilts have been born here at the Cottage on the Hill laterly - these are just a few.
Don't they all look terrific, I will be back to share some more later in the week.

Well after a very long wait the second half of the "Sweet Sixteen" range by Edyta Sitar - Laundry Basket Quilts - for Moda. Have eventually arrived in store. My camera has been a little slack on retreats laterly - so instead of quilts I thought I would share with you some of the yummy food I made this evening for my up coming retreat. To celebrate my 50th Birthday (which was nearly 2 months ago now) we had booked to go to New Zealand for a few days with friends - anyway the ash cloud put a stop to that back in June. So we rebooked and flew to NZ back about 3 weeks ago. What an amazing view from the plane as we approached Christchurch Airport - I just love mountains and these ones looked amazing covered in snow.
My favourite place in all the world is Queenstown - it was such glorious weather for the few days we were there after a huge snow fall just before we arrived. One thing I have wanted to do on previous visits is to tandum hang glide from above the Skyline over looking Queenstown - Geoffrey has never let me but for some reason this year it was OK (he said it was because I have rared the kids now). So this photo is me gliding over the skys above Queenstown - what an amazing experience - so I can tick that off my list of things I want to do now I am 50.
