Cross my fingers typepad lets me post this after trying a few times this week.
Last weekend saw over 140 ladies make their way to Nundle for my 4th annual Girls Day in the Country - GDITC - I had worked really hard to make sure everything was supper organised - which made the whole weekend run so smoothly. Anni Downs my guest tutor was wonderful as usual - her 2 projects were just gorgeous.
Here is the hall all set up ready for day one
On arrival all the ladies received a little envelope bag that I made full of the 2 kits for the days projects along with the name tags and cups - I themed the day on a picnic in the garden so morning tea was served in the baskets on the middle of the tables and lunch was served in cardboard boxes.

Hanging around the room were lots of finished "Gardners Journal Quilts" - alot of ladies that attended last year set themselves a challenge to complete the quilt and bring it back for show and tell - they all looked so good - well done everyone

.
This is the purse that Anni designed for the day - many ladies finished this on the day - some of the designs were gorgeous
This wall hanger that Anni designed for us really worked well with the theme for the day - the fabrics used were "Antique Fair" by BlackBird Designs.
I will be back to share more from last weekend - my 4th Annual GDITC
