Well I am still on a high from last weekend - thanks heaps to everyone who has sent me so many wonderful messages - its great to know that I am loved and appreciated. Look at these gorgeous flowers that arrived this week - especially for me.
Tuesday was one of those days that will stay with me for a very long time - I left home here just before 5am to catch a flight to Sydney to attend a shop owners workshop conducted by Robyn Pandoph. What a great day I had - she was so inspiring - we all chatted about the current situation the Patchwork industry, as well as learning lots of great tips from Robyn on Needle turn applique. Thank goodness my evening flight home was on time - I arrive home about 9.30pm ready to face my 2 day retreat ladies at 9am Wednesday morning. Here is a photo of Myself with Robyn and the quilt we all started on the day - I wonder how long it will take me to get mine to this stage LOL.
My retreat group from Sydney had a fabulous time as usual here in Nundle - they all made great quilts using lots of bright colour cobinations - and enjoyed the idealic rural setting that is "The cottage on the Hill" - so far away from the busy streets of Sydney.
