Oh I can't believe I haven't posted for so long, where is time going???
Well I have heaps to share with you - Just not sure where to start. Geoffrey and I had a fabulous time in Tasmania - I will try and pop back over the weekend and share some of our sight seeing photos but first of all I will share a couple of photos of my retreat I taught at "Calico Crossroads" in Exeter, the reason for our visit to that gorgeous state. We had a great class held in Paulines shop, I designed a new mystery quilt especially for the retreat - called "Georgetown Circle". All of the ladies in the retreat had picked their own colour combinations - with Paulines help - and when they arrived on Saturday morning their kits were all pre cut for them and ready to be sewn. 5 ladies that were in last years class returned this years so it was great to see their friendly faces. After 2 days sewing, along with lots of chatting, laughter and of course yummy food, most of the quilt tops were all together. All the quilts looked great, even if Pauline was a little unsure of some of the colour combinations. I will try and share photos of them all over the next couple of posts.
We should have taken a group photo earlier in the day when everyone was there.
Saturday evening saw a few of us bloggers head into Launceston for dinner - which was lovely - great to catch up with them, here we have Vicki
Take care and happy sewing
