Like most of NSW - Australia - this is what we have woken up to - a massive dust storm. We had rain and wind all night and look what it has bought with it. All this dust has come from South Australia which is a few thousand klm's west.
I feel so sorry for all those farmers west of us that have lost all of this top soil that is blowing around in the sky. Have a good day
Just thought I would share this Beef Sausage and Tomato casserole recipe with you all - why not try it for dinner - very tasty.
Ingredients - 1 kg of beef sausages, 1 large brown onion - chopped into wedges, 1 red or green capsicum - chopped, 200g cherry tomatoes - halved, 200g jar of mild taco sauce, 1/2 cup beef stock.
Pre heat a heavy based pan over moderate heat - add the sausages and brown on all sides, there is no need to cook them through as they will continue to cook in the casserole.
Remove the sausages from the pan and add the onions - cook until soft and brown. Add the tomatoes and capsicum cook for a further 1 minute. Add the taco sauce and stock. Return the sausages to the pan - cover - reduce heat and cook for a further 30 minutes
Hi there, a huge sorry to all those who have popped in laterly to find no new posts - well I am back. Life here has been a little more then hectic - usually by this time of the year the days, weeks, months just seem to run into each other. No real excuses just, ill health, knee operations, lightning strikes and heaps and heaps of retreats - I just don't really have enough hours in each day - but who has.
Anyway before I start another retreat tomorrow I thought I better post photos of the last few that I have had - as usual all of the quilts have been amazing - and all of the ladies have just had the best time. I will just share photo's of the all the groups - sorry for the delay.
