Well done Jessica

I just wanted to share these couple of photos with you all, last weekend Tanya, my very dear friend and her daughter Jessica came to visit. Years ago Tanya and I would sew into the early hours of the morning, starting after we got all the kids to bed, well those little kids have grown up and it was so nice to have Jessica and Nicole join us for some late night sewing.

Typepad 394 Jessica started this quilt using "Chocolate" fabrics awhile back but managed to sew the borders on,

Typepad 393 Then she made this Shaggy quilt using the new "Charisma" flannels.

I spent my sewing time piecing together some of the blocks for the new quilt I have designed for the retreat I am teaching at "Calico Crossroads" in Tasmania in December, the quilt is a mystery so I will just show you a sneak peak.

On another note - only 5 more sleeps until I jump on my flight to the USA - I will be spending a few days in Lancaster County then heading to Houston to the IInternational Quilt Market and then Quilt Festival - it should be a wonderful two weeks. If anyone out there is going to be at either let me know I would love to meet up with some other bloggers.

Take care

Kerry
